Camping…your thing or not?

Growing up my family did a lot of camping...tents, tent trailers and now my parents have a nice 40ft trailer parked at a popular campground so camping is nothing new to me. What is new to me is tenting with my husband and kids.

This coming weekend we're away for a

tournament and decided to camp, partially because hotels are insanely priced right now and partly because the kids will have friends to play with so it'll be fun for us all. BUT it's supposed to rain...tenting in the rain is not my most favourite thing to do and it will be a whole new experience with my kids. We bought a tent, tarps, and everything camping so I'm hoping we're prepared.

So my question to you is this...is camping your thing? Do you have any tips and tricks for us? Say a little prayer for us and stay tuned for a post after the weekend to see if we've all made it out alive!

Don’t forget to pack some games, and bring an umbrella so hubby can cook over the stove in the rain lol

But in all seriousness, tenting can be a whole lot of fun as you remember! We certainly enjoyed it when the kids were little. I grew up not knowing anything but tenting. It’s not new to you so make memories with the kids that they’ll always remember. Now that you have everything plan for your next trip with enthusiasm and remember to pack what you missed on this trip 😉

If it rains, dance in it! ♥️

Thanks!! We’re excited and can’t wait to make memories…hopefully we don’t mind the rain because it’s supposed to pour!
